Moving Car Catches Fire in Hubballi

Hubballi: A moving car caught fire on Lamington Road in the city on Wednesday night. Fortunately, none of the car’s occupants were injured in the incident. The alert driver quickly pulled over to the side of the road after noticing smoke coming from the engine, despite the heavy downpour. All occupants safely exited the vehicle before the fire intensified.

The incident occurred near Smart Hotel within the Town Police station limits. According to sources, the Indica car was traveling from Old Hubballi to Gokul Road when the fire broke out. It is believed that a short circuit in the battery caused the fire, although further details are still awaited.
